Broccoli or Cauliflower Florets

Most of my veggies are prepared with the same formula: oven + time + salt + other seasonings.  The times do vary depending on the vegetable and your preference.

Ingredients:
Veggie
Salt
Oil (Coconut, Avocado, EVOO)
Garlic Powder
Any other spices you wish (my favorites are oregano & rosemary)

Preheat oven to 350.  Cut out the stem of the veggie.  I hold the veggie upside down and cut into it in with my knife at an angle and rotate the veggie as I go.  It creates a V shape cut throughout the middle of the veggie and then you pull the stem right out.  Toss the stem or chop into bitesize pieces.  Break the florets of the veggie apart and place all pieces into a large casserole dish.  Drizzle oil on top and incorporate the oil over all of the veggie surfaces using your hands.  This is an important part!!!  Then coat the veggie with salt, garlic salt and other spices.  Again, incorporate with your hands.  Put the veggie in the oven for 40 minutes.  If you like it crisp only have them in the oven for about 25 minutes.
