Basic Chicken Breast

This is great for having chopped protein in the fridge for lunch, on top of a salad or whole for your dinner!


Ingredients:

Chicken Breast
Salt
Oregano or other herb/s
Garlic Powder
Olive Oil

Procedure:

First preheat the oven to 400.  Heavily sprinkle salt, oregano/herbs garlic powder on one side of the chicken breasts.  Heavily coat a large frying pan in oil.  Wait until the pan is hot and then sear the first side of the chicken.  Next season the other side.  When the breast pulls away from the pan naturally and has a brown coating flip the chicken.  This should take 2-5 minutes per side.  *If you pound the chicken to the same level of thickness this should only take 2 minutes.*  Transfer chicken to a casserole dish and put in the oven for 15-20 minutes.  *If you pounded the chicken to the same level of thickness this will only take 10 minutes.*  Take out of oven and let cool.
